Minerals and salts occur naturally in groundwater.  As groundwater can stain some surfaces, testing may be required to determine what you can use your bore water for e.g. Swimming pools

Water testing kits are available from SGS Environmental, please telephone their office: 03 5172 1555.
Included in the kit are instructions, a water test bottle,  bottle label and a mailing label.

A comprehensive water analysis will be carried out by SGS Environmental Services for the cost of $165.00 (a Bore Construction Licence number MUST be supplied).  SGS Environmental Services work in conjuction with Southern Rural Water to analyse and manage our groundwater resources.

If you do not have a Bore Construction Licence number, the fee increases to $440.00.
